Shep Hickey founded Bryzos in 2017 after leaving a successful executive role in steel distribution to tackle the industry’s digital transformation. With a deep operational and procurement background and sharp instincts for innovation, he created Bryzos and later Gone in 60 Seconds to bring speed, transparency, and fairness to how metals are bought and sold. Shep leads with vision, grit, and a belief in building things that last.

Lee Letourneau, a seasoned steel industry veteran, brings decades of pricing, product, and sales expertise to Bryzos. From helping build the platform in Shep’s basement to shaping the scope and pricing of GISS, Lee has played a critical role in Bryzos’ growth. Known for his even-keeled leadership, industry know-how, and ability to build trust quickly, Lee is the steady hand every startup needs.

Director of Operations
Kelsey Hartman is the operational engine behind Bryzos. With a background in steel procurement and unmatched adaptability, she oversees everything from product design to financial systems to HR. She played a central role in developing the GISS platform and continues to bridge tech, finance, and team operations with sharp execution, creative problem solving, and the ability to lead across every layer of the business.

Marketing & Business Development
Rachel Hartman joined Bryzos without prior steel experience and quickly made her mark in business development. She later pivoted to lead marketing, where she now drives the company’s brand, voice, and content strategy. From producing the Bryzos podcast and docuseries to leading social media and creative campaigns, Rachel brings grit, adaptability, and a sharp eye for what resonates in the metals industry.

Since 2017, PK has led Bryzos Engineering with deep technical expertise and a relentless drive for product excellence. With a foundation in software development and system architecture, he is the architect of Bryzos’ core technology and innovations such as Upload BOM and the platform’s blazing-fast search. Recognized for his thoughtful approach, commitment to quality, and focus on security, PK ensures every technical decision advances speed, scalability, and user experience.
